Is Metro Charity a tax-deductible organization?
Yes. Metro Charity is a 501(c)3 organization and has been approved by the IRS to receive donated items and issue a tax-deductible donation receipt for donated items.

Is Metro Charity licensed?
Yes. Since its inception, Metro Charity has been licensed to solicit and sell donated items, raffle tickets, and host exciting fund-raising events in the community.

Do I have to designate from a certain list of charities?
No. You can pick any 501(c)3 organization to receive the proceeds from your donated item. For example, you could choose a church, private school, human service organization, civic or cultural organization, medical foundation, etc. Metro Charity supports many different charitable organizations.

Does Metro Charity take other items besides monetary donations?
Yes. We accept most electronics, jewelry, personal/business services, gift certificates, cars, boats, motorcycles, and in some cases we will also accept real estate. Please contact one of our representatives if you'd like to donate these items.
